Before We Arrive

At Teter's Carpets Plus, we understand the importance of preparing your space for our professional carpet cleaning services. To ensure a smooth and effective cleaning process, please follow these pre-cleaning guidelines:

Clear the Area:

  • Before our team arrives, make sure the area to be cleaned is clear of any clutter, toys, or small items.


  • Remove any breakable objects from the rooms we'll be cleaning. This includes delicate decorations, glassware, and other fragile items.

Furniture Preparation:

  • We are happy to move most furniture items free of charge. Our trained professionals will carefully relocate your furniture as needed and place it back on protective padding after the cleaning is completed.


  • Please remove items such as electronics, plants, lamps, and knick-knacks from your furniture to ensure their safety during the process.

Items We Do Not Move:

  • While we're equipped to move most furniture, there are certain items we do not handle due to their size or complexity. These include pianos, electronics, china cabinets, beds, dressers with mirrors, and pool tables, among others.

Rug Cleaning at Customer's Discretion

At Teter's Carpets Plus, we understand that not all rugs are the same, and some may require specialized cleaning methods. Rug cleaning is always at the customer's discretion. We use hot water extraction for most carpets, but some rugs may need dry cleaning or other specialized treatments.

Please Note: It's important to understand that if you choose a specific cleaning method for your rug other than our standard hot water extraction, and damage occurs during the process, we will not be able to cover any repair costs. We will assess the best cleaning approach on-site and require your permission before proceeding with any alternative method.

Policy Updates:

Additional Cleaning Charges

Our equipment is designed to handle a wide range of cleaning tasks, including debris and spills. However, excessive pet hair or debris may require additional time and effort, which will incur an extra charge. We appreciate your understanding as we strive to deliver thorough and efficient service.


Weekend Appointments

We’re pleased to offer limited weekend appointments for your convenience. Please note that these appointments are subject to an overtime rate. We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred time.



Cancellation Policy

We kindly request a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Appointments canceled within 24 hours will be subject to an additional fee. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us manage our schedule effectively.

  • Yes, we do! Our professional team is trained to move furniture as needed to ensure a thorough cleaning of your carpets.
